Buy Statistical Reasoning

I have examined a substantial number of introductory statistics textbooks for use in the United States and overseas. This, I think, is the best. The strength of the book is that it explains matters both in ordinary language as well as with mathematical formulae. It explains to the reader the way to think about statistical problems and the implications and consequences of using the formulae. — Khalid Ikram, Executive Director, Ikram Consulting

Greatness! This book is amazing, despite being an older version. My professor loves it so much, that this is the only book that he has ever used to teach the class. — XNotebook

Introduction to Statistical Reasoning by Gary Smith, for 25 years teaching statistics, constitutes a good, interesting and approachable text for new beginning students of Statistics. — Victor Lionel Nazaire
